Trinidad Success Stories
"I have worked for Trinidad for over 8 years, and have been apart of Trinidad’s incredible growth story. I came to Trinidad as a Driller in 2001 and started as Tool Push in 2003. Later on when Trinidad was starting a new construction program I left the field and came into the operations yard to oversee and coordinate the construction of several new state of the art rigs being built for our U.S fleet. Once the rig construction program for the U.S was completed I went to the Huston area and worked as a Project Supervisor overseeing the day to day operations of the new advanced fleet of rigs. In 2009 I returned to the Canadian Operations as the Construction Superintendant overseeing our manufacturing facility in the construction of new drilling rigs and equipment. In return for hard work, Trinidad has given me the opportunity to advance within the company."

"I started work for Trinidad in 1996 as a Motorhand, we were a 1 rig company that was focused on performance. I worked up through the ranks and started pushing tools in 2001. From 2003 to 2005 I was a Rig Manager and filled in as a Relief Field Superintendant when needed, I became familiar with all of the rigs in our fleet which had grown to over 40 rigs in Canada. In 2005 when Trinidad announced the construction of 10 new state of the art drilling rigs to add to our Canadian Drilling fleet, I was asked to act as the Construction Manager for that project; I was eager to learn new things and took the position. During the course of the construction I learned a great deal about our newer designs and the technology including power systems, top drives, and automated controls. When the construction program was completed I took the assignment of Top Drive Superintendant over seeing the entire Top Drive Department for our Canadian drilling fleet. I knew that the hard work and dedication to Trinidad would lead to great opportunities for my family and I."

"I have been working for ACE (Automation, Controls, and Electric) for over two years now. I started out working as a Parts Driver. Once I spent some time with the company I became interested in the electrical trade, and decided to start my apprenticeship as an Electrician. ACE supported by apprenticeship, and I am now a second year Apprentice Electrician, working on our rig construction project and learning something new every day!"
