Trinidad Drilling International - Joint Venture
In 2013, Trinidad signed a joint venture with Halliburton to create Trinidad Drilling International, our combined international drilling entity. The joint venture is owned 60% by Trinidad and 40% by Halliburton.
Under the joint venture, Trinidad has the first look at all Halliburton’s IPM (Integrated Project Management) drilling opportunities outside of Canada and the US. This structure provides Trinidad with an extensive international growth opportunity while reducing the risk for our shareholders. Currently Halliburton Project Management is executing projects in more than 20 countries, utilizing more than 100 rigs.
